The one below is from my yahoo messenger on 8/4/20-this is exactly why I was compelled to get my original material into print. I was seeing people quit pool that weren't finding a basis for better shot making. I thought if I can stop people from quitting and make them better, that would be worth the effort.
I have never asked anyone I knew to put up a positive review for me that wasn't a customer nor do I run down other authors concepts, but I know very well what mine can do. October 17th, 2019 Robin I bought your Target Ball Concept book as an e-book today. Thank you, it is well written, easy to understand. I read it, went to my table and had it in 5-10 minutes. Will use it tonight, see how it goes under pressure in real games. I think it is easy to use and seems to work very well. I've tried many aiming systems, most are too complicated for real life game situations, CTE etc.. I have been doing "Split the Difference" and it works well. I use your border line concept to double check my line up. Seems to help. Good ideas.

I unexpectedly came across your book from a forum and so glad I did. I recently purchased it and what a great perspective on shot making. I practice for hours almost every day and just never got consistent enough. I was taught ghost ball that was very inconsistent for me at distance and tight angles . With very little practice I put it to the test playing some BCA teammates and noticed an almost immediate improvement. At least I didn’t take forever overthinking how to aim and made the majority of my shots with very little thought. THAT is a major step for me! I look forward to reading all your books in the near future.

A little about me first. I'm 49, been playing pool since I was a teenager with my grandfather. I've been a couple of world champions at the Derby City Classic but I'm far from a professional. My Fargo Rating is low 600's, but I love the game. I do ok for an amateur, but really just play for the love of the game.
I've had lessons with some of the top instructors but have been at the same level for over a decade, really not much improvement.
I must say that I really love the speed control exercises. I've always struggled with this, mainly going with guestimates and feel. I am only less than half way through the document but am enjoying the challenges and so surprised how much I've learned so far. I'm excited to practice again. I have all 3 of your books and have enjoyed them. I have a huge library of pool books, I must say I'm learning a ton from your stuff. I believe I'll surpass the wall I've been stuck behind for some time if I continue using your material.

Robin, I just received my copy of your book today and cannot believe the improvement it has made on my game already!!
I eagerly read your book,went to my table and followed your method. It took me about 10-15 to adjust my aiming site but after that balls started to go in all over the place!!
I practised for hours feeling rejuvenated and happy about making shots that only hours before I had know idea if they would go in, AMAZING.
I then stopped for about 3 hours and went back to my table and guest what- I was making shots from everywhere!

About me...
I have been playing pool for over 35 years and have been regarded as an above average player but I have always struggled with consistency , I would often run many balls and then dog an easy shot? This got in my head so much that I became very good at playing 2-way shots and moving the cue ball to a safe position just in case I missed.
This strategy allowed me to be competitive and do well in local tournaments and low stakes games but I have been stuck at this level for probably 20 years ( I have recently returned to playing after being away from the game for 5 years). The better players knew my limitations and exploited my consistency problems and I could never be competitive with them over the long run- it was very frustrating to say the least.

From the thread on AzBilliards.com I found this book to be very useful in locking in your aim. I use the ghost ball and after trying all the CTE techniques, I feel this helped my pocketing percentage much more than those systems. My playing time is limited, so to be able to add this to my arsenal immediately without hours and hours of building from scratch, is wonderful. I keep it near and read it over and over, to reinforce what I've learned and to add some more of the finer details that he includes. Definitely the best instructional material I've purchased in the last 5 years.
