The story of Aiming in Pool
Aim is proven to be subjective since there are many systems on the market but it wasn't always debated or even a piece for conversation but here is how Aiming in Pool works.
Back in the day when people had more time to play, you just played and through playing you developed whatever idea that you had about aiming to work based on your knowledge of how things went the last time at that angle.
Then people had plenty of time....now not so much....and along came Systems
If you buy an aiming system like CTE or some variant. It's going to send you through a protocol or pre-shot routine involving a side ways pivot that is supposed to end with you arriving at the perfect place to make the shot. A center-ball shot. Now you may or may not make it where you end your routine or recognize it as such correct or incorrect and then you fine tune your way out of it. Then you continue to end up being too thick or thin on the shot because you don't recognize what to do in order to get you cue ball on the correct the path.
At this point you keep doing the thing over and over again struggling to find out what you're doing that isn't working and I've heard this a lot from other people.
My technique centers around doing the same thing on every shot on the table by providing you the same clue to learn to adjust by and you won't miss a shot without understanding what you did wrong.
This is huge when it comes to learning the shots.
Once you see what you did wrong and know how you did that then the next time you can get it right and keep it that way from now on.
There is nothing worse than trying to teach someone who doesn't ask for help first.
For the most part people who aren't open to instruction need to be left alone to enjoy the game. I created my material for when they get interested because when they do they need it to be straight forward, the same every time so they can really learn something. Pool is a spatial awareness art of sight and depth perception and many have no clue how to approach it. I've spent enough time on this to know what not to teach you. I know what to show you to make you remember what you did and know how to correct yourself from now on.
I'm always happy to help if you reach out, but most people understand my material the way I present it.
It will take you less time to be confident on the shots you learn and that is the magic in my technique.
People tell me in only a few minutes they understood and began to have success with my technique.
I have every reason to believe you'll do well based on the questions that I don't get asked and I've been doing this since 2008.
You'll wonder why you didn't think of this before but you'll never discover it on your own.
That is why I put this to print for those of you who want to see a polished perspective that is solid as a rock.
